The Cabildo of the Cathedral organizes the activity "Beauty, truth and life" to put music to the Christian mysteries of salvation: the Ascension of the Lord, Pentecost, the Most Holy Trinity and Corpus Christi.

"We wanted to enhance these solemnities that are magnificent occasions to deepen in the beauty, in the truth that they contain and in the life that they transmit to the Christian community and to anyone who feels sympathy for the music", explains the canonical prefect of Sacred Music of the Cathedral and main organist, Alfonso Guillamón.

This is a series of concerts that will take place on Sundays corresponding to these solemnities: May 13, Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, concert of Canticorum Jubilo choir;

May 20, Solemnity of Pentecost, organ concert by Christopher Fleming;

May 27, Solemnity of the Holy Trinity, concert of Alfonso Guillamón de los Reyes;

and on June 3, solemnity of Corpus Christi, concert of the Schola Gregoriana de Murcia.

The four concerts will take place at 18:45 and will be interspersed with poetic texts by Manuel Jiménez Sánchez, "texts that also tell us about those mysteries of salvation from the beauty of poetry," says Guillamón.
