On the occasion of the International Day of Nursing, which is commemorated on May 12, the delegation of Nursing students of the UMU has organized the First Week of Nursing that is held on 7, 8 and 10 May.
During these days there will be several educational, cultural, sports and coexistence activities for the entire university community and for the professional sector of nursing.
On Monday afternoon will take place various sports tournaments and a charity race in favor of the Association DEMUSA for scholarships and school supplies in the CEIP Our Lady of Peace. On Tuesday, the University Social Center (CSU) will host dance workshops, personal defense, karate and fencing.
Among the talks scheduled on Thursday, May 10, Rosamaría Alberdi Castell, doctor Honoris Causa de Enfermería by the UMU in 2016, will give the conference `Nurses: a voice to answer the essential questions`.
