The City of Murcia, through the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, has installed a new decorative fountain in the garden of the Plaza Mayor de la Murta.
"The goal was to give a new look to this space while getting oxygenated a space with the placement of this decorative fountain that will serve as a meeting point for the residents of this Murcian hamlet," explains the mayor José Guillén.
This new source has involved previous work on channeling underground water so that its daily operation is correct.
In addition, as is usual in the different sources and green spaces of the municipality of Murcia, a control of the state of the water is carried out and the different treatments are applied for their optimal state.
"The fountains always follow daily surface cleaning processes to remove all those elements that may have fallen into them, such as leaves," says Guillén.
In this way, from the Department of Modernization is still committed to the care and maintenance of each and every one of the green areas and spaces located in Murcia and its different districts.
