Serna: "the woman of our district is recognized for her courage, for her struggle and for her work, being the engine of Los Garres in all its history"
The spokesman of the Popular Party of Los Garres, Jorge Serna, has presented at the last plenary session of the parish numerous motions to praise the figure of the Garreña woman, thus rendering performances in the streets and squares of the parish a tribute to women 365 days a year.
Some of these proposals of the Popular Party of Los Garres has been the creation of a new garden (or adaptation and reform of any of the existing ones) of 'La Mujer Garreña', whose trees must be accompanied by an honorific plaque for each outstanding woman of the district, encouraging collaboration with the educational centers of the parish for its citizens.
"This is an awareness of the smallest by nature and respect for the gardens, in addition to making known the history of the district through the most relevant female figures of Los Garres," Serna sentence.
In addition, the Popular Group is urged to name the next street that needs to be named 'calle a la Mujer Garreña', in recognition of the courage and struggle waged by the women of Los Garres.
The spokesman of the Popular Party adds that "we also want the Municipal Board to create a permanent exhibition of the photographs of the most outstanding women of Los Garres in the Plenary Hall and to make guided visits by the protagonists of the exhibition to the students of the educational centers of Los Garres and Lages, is a way of paying homage to the motor of our districts: women ".
