The municipal group Ciudadanos has asked the local government to adopt dissuasive measures to combat the plague of pigeons in the pergola of San Basilio.
"A public space," said the president of the Northern District Board, Ascension Nicolás, visited by many neighbors, full of pigeon droppings, which besides dirtying the area, can transmit diseases, in some serious cases.
"It is not the first time that from the District Board we demand the local government to act implementing deterrent measures capable of curbing this plague and glazing the roof of the pergola as it was a few years ago," recalled Nicolás.
"We need the PP to solve, effectively and safely, a problem that, in addition to causing inconvenience to neighbors and devalue the environment, poses a significant risk to health," he stressed.
