The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has approved in its weekly meeting the collaboration agreement between the City Council and the Spanish Boxing Federation for the organization and development in Murcia of the International Tournament "Boxam Tournament 2018".
The sports entity has designated the city as the venue for the International Tournament "Boxam Tournament 2018", which will take place next week, from 7 to 13, and serves as preparation for the 2018 Mediterranean Games.
The Championship will have 150 athletes of different nationalities, about 200 people of organization and technicians, as well as companions.
All this is summarized in some 1,200 overnight stays during the week of the competition.
This championship is a sporting event of national repercussion that, in addition to the large number of participants (150 athletes) of different nationalities, among which there will be a large majority of Spanish representatives, companions and the general public, will have a considerable media impact when broadcast live by STREAMING and will be seen by the worldwide platform LALIGA4SPORT.
"In this way the diffusion of the competition will be achieved on the federation's website and on social networks, presenting the city of Murcia as a modern city capable of hosting top-level competitions, which constitutes a considerable tourist promotion for the city ​​and an exceptional occasion for the promotion of the hobby and the practice of physical activity and sport, which justifies the public interest in the International Tournament being held in Murcia ", explained Felipe Coello.
