The Councilor for Urban Planning, Environment, Water and Garden, Antonio Navarro, has signed this morning along with the Academic Director of the University School of Tourism of Murcia, María Isabel Sánchez Mora, an agreement by which the students of this school can perform a collaboration and volunteering with the Office of the Bicycle to give explanations of these guided itineraries during the 'Moon Bike'.
The objective of this agreement is the promotion of cultural and pedagogical activity on bicycle routes organized on full moon Saturdays, the 'Moon Bike', which will allow students to contribute content and make explanations of places of interest. interest to be visited during the tour.
Antonio Navarro stressed that "through this agreement we want to take a step further in the successful 'Moon Bike' and provide added value through the School of Tourism of Murcia: offer participants explanations of the most emblematic places of each of the routes .
In this way, we want to bring to each of those who participate in these itineraries the history and heritage of Murcia and our Huerta. "
This volunteering will involve the participation of two and four students on each bicycle route, during six itineraries, ending with the last 'Moon Bike' of the year on November 17.
Thus, the students will help to boost this itinerary by bicycle, promote networks and give visibility to this activity and the municipality's heritage.
