The Palace of Sports of Murcia, an installation inaugurated in 1994 and which is the main pavilion of the city and also of the Region, presents a very deficient situation for years and does not project the image that should an enclosure in which they develop their activity the two highest level clubs of the Autonomous Community, the UCAM Club Basketball Murcia and ElPozo Murcia Futsal, and which a good number of users go to play sports every day.

The environment is also very deteriorated and needs a complete remodeling, because the floor is raised, there are slabs fallen from the facade, the fountains have no water and are painted on the walls of the installation.
