The City of Murcia has established a special security and cleaning device for the celebration of the WARM Up Festival to be held during this weekend.

To design it, the Local Safety Board, meeting last week, analyzed the needs and resources that will be enabled by the City Council on the occasion of this event, which will involve Civil Protection, Fire and Local Police.

In total there will be 154 Local Police officers who will serve tomorrow Friday, Saturday and Sunday in La Fica and surrounding areas, in the camping area and in the different spaces where concerts will be held.

Among the actions that will be carried out is the regulation and cutting of traffic, the control of the dissuasive parkings and together with the Fica, the supervision of the security measures included in the self-protection plan, avoiding the bottle and the street vendor at the entrance of the enclosure, the safety of acts and avoid illegal camping

In addition, trucks of the Cleaning Service will be placed as a containment measure in strategic points determined by the Local Police.

Regarding the cleaning device, in the area of ​​the festival, including in addition to the FICA, the neighborhoods of Vistabella and Infante, over the weekend will work more than 100 operators and employ more than 50 mechanical equipment.

Fifty-five 800-liter containers, 26 360-liter containers and three battery containers have been installed in the Fica's premises and 20 800-liter containers on the La Flota football field.

In addition, six portable toilets have been placed in Av. Intendente Jorge Palacios, 2 portable toilets in Plaza Apostles, 2 portable toilets in the Garden of Fame and 1 portable toilet in Basabé Street.

Today, the general cleaning of all areas of the festival site is being carried out before the opening of doors and tomorrow, on Saturday and Sunday, the Vistabella neighborhood will be cleaned, the parking lot of the shopping center located next to La Fica, the margins of the Segura River, the path of the Mota del Río, the general cleanliness of the site before the opening of doors and the area of ​​influence of the camp on the La Flota football field.

On Monday the general cleaning of the site and areas of influence will be carried out.

In addition, in the garden of La Fama, Plaza del Romea and Huerto Urbano de Santa Eulalia, where different activities will be held, the service will be reinforced.
