The Municipal Office of Graffiti directed by Rebeca Pérez from the Department of Works and Services and dependent on Ferrovial Services, will launch a new mural of large dimensions to decorate spaces of the municipality.
In this case it will be the hamlet of Cabezo de Torres which will see how the imagination of the artists Kraser, Pigüo, Nels and Mr. Chapu is embodied in a 10x12 meter wall.
"Since two years ago we see how graffiti is integrated in many places of the municipality, providing personality and art to places that, until recently, only looked painted, in this way we managed to create a network of murals and graffiti of great visual level and that remember the traditions and cultures of Murcia ", explained Rebeca Pérez.
The wall to intervene is a dividing wall of the building in C / Community, next to the festival site and the Mayor of Cabezo de Torres and has an approximate size of 10x12m.
The free space left by the enclosure, makes the wall easily seen in the distance and from different angles.
An enclosure that, among its functions, is to house the tent where the party after the parades and carnival groups and those attending it meet and continue.
The four artists will create with total freedom a design, in which the diversity of styles will be patent, and in which there will be references to the theme with a great color and appropriate forms.
In addition, the entire process will be documented, subsequently editing a video that will serve to disseminate the work through the Municipal Office of Graffiti, as well as for promotional use by the commissions or institutions in charge of organizing parties and cultural events in Cabezo de Torres.
