Antonio Navarro has been re-elected Secretary of the Board of Directors of EnerAgen until 2020 by agreement of the XVII Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Spanish Energy Management Agencies, held last days in León, where, among other issues, to the renewal of its board of directors until April 2020.
The City of Murcia will continue to hold the technical secretariat of the association.
Antonio Navarro Corchón, head of the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change (ALEM), will continue to hold this position he has held since 2016.
In this new stage, EnerAgen, chaired by the Regional Energy Authority (EREN), will work especially in the promotion of thermal renewable energies, and in enhancing its presence as a reference body before the administrations and in the forums of the sector.
The meeting brought together 17 Spanish agencies and 30 institutional representatives of the partner agencies.
After the assembly, on the same day, the Official Delivery Ceremony of the EnerAgen 2018 Awards was celebrated, in its X Edition, which in its five categories recognizes the best public and private initiatives related to the promotion of renewable energies and efficiency energetic
The Association of Spanish Energy Management Agencies is a non-profit organization, created in 2003, with the aim of strengthening the role of energy agencies and set up as the main instrument of cooperation and coordination between public agencies they operate in the national territory in the field of energy.
Currently, it brings together 23 entities from the autonomous, provincial and local spheres.
