The PSOE accuses the PP of "delving into the discrimination of the La Paz neighborhood for not taking it into account when expanding services" Enrique Ayuso criticizes that, once again, the residents of this neighborhood and also Vistabella (30/04/2018)

The Municipal Socialist Group has accused the government team, the PP, accentuate the "eternal discrimination suffered by the neighborhood of La Paz, because it still does not take it into account when planning a new service or expand existing."

According to councilor Enrique Ayuso, a clear example is the system of renting electric motorcycles, Muving, which are accessible from anywhere in the city, including shopping centers, but the neighborhoods of La Paz and Vistabella are the exception.

"There you can not park these motorcycles or take a municipal bike."

"We must not forget that this service has the approval of the government team, whose mayor took the advantage of presenting Muving well to take the corresponding photo," the councilor explained.

He also stressed that "the limitation of services in the neighborhoods mentioned, specifically in La Paz, only affects the isolation, turning it into a ghetto or Comanche territory and signaling it as an area with some risk, something that is far away of any intention of regeneration. "

In this regard, the councilor recalled that throughout this mandate has presented initiatives in the Plenary to promote a real remodeling of La Paz, as when he asked the City to allocate a part of the European funds of the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy and Integrated (EDUSI) to the remodeling of the Polygon and also when it demanded that a new Rehabilitation Plan be approved, which in no case had the support of the PP.

"This City Council has a pending issue with the neighborhood of La Paz and, above all, with its neighbors, corner it and obviate it is not the solution, only affects marginalization," said Ayuso, who has specified that "this mandate will pass without penalty or glory, again, for this area, since the only thing that has been advanced is to have a study on the state of real estate and is a very limited initiative to address a full and courageous regeneration ".
