Researchers in Management and Business Administration from across Europe will meet at the Faculty of Economics, University of Murcia between 13 and 15 June to celebrate the 17th International Product Development Management Conference, a conference on innovation management and development of new products in the company, which discusses the latest scientific developments in this discipline and presenting the most relevant research work done in this field, providing solutions for business and society in general.
For three days, the meeting will gather in Murcia to about 250 researchers, professors and professionals of Innovation, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Design and Engineering from around the world with a common interest in managing the development of new products, , the search for solutions to the problems faced by businesses innovate.
Increasingly, innovation is regarded as a fundamental source of competitive advantage for companies to compete in a global environment increasingly fierce, and as an element for survival and economic growth.
This year's edition is titled "Innovation in times of crisis," and in it many professionals try to share how they should be designed and developed new products for success.
This event has been held on previous occasions in countries such as Sweden, France, Italy or Germany, is celebrated for the first time in Spain, in the University of Murcia.
The meeting marks a major global event for international researchers on issues of innovation and new product development, and is covered by the EIASM (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management), an institution that tries to raise the quality of European research the field of Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting and Innovation, which brings together 45,000 members in 25 European countries, belonging to 90 universities and research centers involved in research and teaching Management and Administration companies.
