Mention for Best Sportsman of the Year, was awarded to the player of the UCAM Cartagena Table Tennis, Iulia Necul, that for the second consecutive year he has achieved everything, both in the University Championships in Spain, as at club level.
UCAM has held this afternoon the XII edition of the Sports Gala. The ceremony, chaired by University President, José Luis Mendoza, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Activity, Sport, Antonio Sánchez Pato and the Director of Sports Activities Service, Paul Rosillo, has put the finishing touches on a brilliant sports season characterized by the dominance of athletes, teams and selections from the UCAM, both in the University Championships in Spain and in international competitions Land and sports.
With a track record consists of 17 gold medals, 9 silver and 8 bronze, Universidad Católica San Antonio has become one of the greatest powers of the college sports landscape in Spain.
Among the achievements made by the UCAM college athletes during the 2009-2010 season include the domain of different teams at the University CADU, the achievement of 34 medals at the championships in Spain University, of which 17 have been Oros, which is a record.
It should also be noted that 8 of these medals, has been matched victories achieved in team sports.
As a result, the UCAM leadership maintains a sports season, once again occupying a privileged position in the medal positions of national honor.
