The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the city of Murcia today signed an agreement for the development of home help programs, Support for Inclusion and maintenance of social centers in Primary Care is a subsidy of 2.9 million and will maintain employment of 341 professionals.
The Minister of Social Policy, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, have signed this partnership with the signing of the agreement that contains the input of the regional administration of almost three million, and Murcia City with 985,287 euros.
Under the agreement, 1.5 million contribution from the Ministry goes to maintenance of social service centers in primary care who are employed, directly or indirectly, 70 professionals.
For the Home Help Service, Social Policy supports 1.2 million euros and job guarantees, direct or indirect, of 265 people.
Finally, Accompaniment Program for Social Inclusion, the regional government contribution is 156,702 euros and it employed six people.
Responsible for Social Policy, Joaquín Bascuñana, noted that the total amount of signed agreements with 45 municipalities in Murcia Social Services are a total of 17.1 million euros, of which the Department funded 10 million, municipalities 4.2 million and the central state administration 2.8 million euros.
He also noted that "in primary care have experienced a growth of 2.72 percent in investment this year compared to last year because we are conscious of the need to maintain, develop and provide social care to those most in need ".
