The Board of Governors has approved the application for a grant to the project Campodos Leader of the European approach to the construction of the following sports facilities and health:

- Valladolises sports pavilion, amounting to 800,000.

euros.

- Changing rooms and sports center in Bath & Pauper, the amount of 610,000

- Construction of paddle tennis courts and gym Lobosillo, amounting to 231,921 euros

- Construction of medical practice in Corvera, amounting to 730,000 euros

Should applications be approved, projects will be financed entirely by the group to which Murcia Campodos belongs, without involving the municipal corporation any investment, since the municipal co-financing the group materialized through contributions to belong to it.

The Municipal Corporation of the City Council approved the accession of Murcia is now called Rural Development Association Campodos for implementing rural development projects in its territory, in relation to the municipality of Murcia, comprising the districts of Bath and Beggar , Carrascoy-La Murta, Corvera, Valladolises-Lo Lobosillo and Jury.

Reigning Territorial Rural Development Plan 2007-2013, submitted by the Local Action Group includes the following measures to implement local development strategies in order to achieve the objectives of Axis 3 Rural Development Program of the Autonomous Region Murcia:

1.

Diversification into non-agricultural activities.

2.

Support for the creation and development of microenterprises.

3.

Promotion of tourism.

4.

Basic services for the economy and rural population.

5.

Conservation and upgrading of rural heritage.

6.

Training and information.

On 08/02/2010, the BORM No 31 has published the regulatory basis and call for assistance from the Territorial Plan for Rural Development Local Action Group "Campodos" for measures approach 411 and 413 of "Leader" for the period 2009-2011, which includes the Submeasure 321: Basic services for the economy and rural population, according to what is contained in Regulation (EC) No 1698/2005 Articles 52 and 56 and Regulation (EC) No 1974 / 2006 Annex II, which aims to facilitate the establishment and improvement of appropriate services for the development of rural areas as well as demanded by the people, as the reduced provision of certain services in the rural areas, or lack thereof, often due to the lower population in those areas which affect the viability and profitability of the services provided.

Within the extent of provision of basic services to the rural economy and population are expected as 100% financed and actions to increase social and welfare services, especially in towns where none exist, that is the case of the presented

Association for Rural Development Campodos is constituted in 2000, having among its objectives the management and implementation of programs and initiatives that contribute to the integral, integrated, harmonious, sustainable and endogenous development of the territory covered by the municipalities of Fuente Alamo Puerto Lumbreras, Cieza, Northwestern municipality of Cartagena and the southeastern city of Murcia.

"Leader" is presented as a useful tool to promote development of rural areas.

Through the Community Initiative Leader + (2000-2006) is the local community involved in the development of rural areas and integrated into Campodos had granted to companies, associations and other groups, as well as municipalities, for implementation of actions and investments that have contributed to the revitalization and social and economic development in those areas.

Currently, it has launched a new programming period 2007-2013 CAP.

Rural Development, as a specific area of the Common Agricultural Policy 2007-2013, framed me through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Fund was created specifically as a means of financing rural development measures.

And this fund is articulated in the Rural Development Programmes of the Member State, and governed by the provisions of the Rural Development Program in the Region of Murcia 2007-2013.
