In order to facilitate the reconciliation of family and work to support children in their socialization and maturation process in a non-formal education, prevention of maladaptive behaviors and creating spaces for interaction and communication through adaptation and revitalization of spaces in school schedules, the city of Murcia has three Cibercaixa center for the development of the program "We were after school."
Each Cibercaixas depends on each of the 3 Municipal Social Services Centres are there in the city of Murcia, who will be responsible for the development of specific programming of each of the cyber classrooms on the basis of a joint project adapted to the particularities of the location and population that found each of them.
The three centers comprise:
- Computer Space: area equipped with computers, from this area, children and young girls can relate through these resources.
- Reading and Audiovisual Area: area equipped with books, films, documentaries, DVDs and audiovisual equipment available to all users of CiberCaixas.
- Children's Area: an area with furniture and resources specifically for children.
In this space, the children have at their disposal educational materials, educational programs and guided activities.
