The Mayor welcomed the commitment to Murcia at 52 officers this year have ended his career at City Hall (21/05/2010)

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, thanked the dedication shown by the 52 Murcia Town Hall employees in 2010 put an end to his career as city officials, or by reason of retirement -45 people, or cause of death in the last year.

Coinciding with the feast of St. Rita, patroness of the Local Government, the Plenary Hall has welcomed this morning the act of homage to the city employees who have completed their careers.

Chamber has awarded a badge and a shield of the City to each of them widows of 7 staff members who have died in the last year.

The Mayor has addressed the attendees and emphasized the "recognition of the Municipal Corporation, as representatives of all citizens on the role of dedication to serving the public interest and Murcia Murcia."

Among the officials who are retiring this year are 7 computers and janitors and 10 members of the local police, as well as guards, officials and a firefighter, among others.

Three of these workers were assigned to the Service Hall, specifically the Chief of Bureau, María Abellán, the driver, Francisco Soler, and local police officer, Oren Lope.

Among those who died during this year include the Chief Engineer Industrial Services, two local police officers, an inspector of Planning, the Head of Youth Service, a forest guard and a painter Traffic Service.
