To celebrate in 2010 the International Year for Biological Diversity, the Department of Science and Technology, University of Murcia has scheduled several scientific trips are intended to bring various aspects of biology to the general public.
Tomorrow, Saturday, May 22, offers the opportunity to discover "much microbial life in our world."
To do this, Professor Francisco Torrella Mateu, Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia, conduct visits to selected areas of the Campus de Espinardo, explaining the importance of microorganisms in the functioning of natural ecosystems collecting samples that will be seen later under the microscope by the participants.
As the May 22 International Day for Biodiversity, Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with Sustainable Campus, will award the participants with an organically grown plant.
Also, as is customary in these "walks scientists" will be drawn a lot of books among the participants.
