Ten young chefs compete in the final week of Gastronomy Creajoven (19/05/2010)

Ten young chefs compete in the final week of Gastronomy Creajoven.

The ten finalists will cook their dishes after 18 hours in Tourism Qualification Center (Avenue Jeanne Jugan, Bacons Bridge).

The jury is chaired by the Councillor for Youth, María Dolores Sánchez, and made by Patxi Larrosa, David López, Joaquín Abellán, Juan José Salmerón and Albaladejo (secretary).

This time the dishes are made with seafood.

The first prize is 1,500 euros and is awarded two second prizes of 900 euros.

The jury's decision will be known tomorrow around 21.30.

The finalists are:

- William Copperwhite, Baked Cod with Raisins, Pine Nuts and Caramelized Onions with Crispy Potatoes

- José Luis Quereda Hermogenes Mariners anchovies with Rice, Crispy Boneless and Sea Lettuce

- Francisco José Abellán Sanchez, Flavoured Rice Norhi Mar, big shrimps, mussels and Horseradish Cream on Seaweed Company

- María Francisca García Lafuente, Tuna with apricots and peppers sauce

- Carmen Irene Mendoza Cabezos Flan Crab and Cod with Mushroom Sauce and Garnish

- Juan José Soria Gómez, Die Red Tuna with Sweet and Sour Noodles, Wakame, Sea and Air Hizikia

- Juan David Gonzalez Azor, Study on the Octopus, Caxelos Fluid, Pine Nuts and Embers

- Cesar Tovar Antonio Guirao, South Sea and the Lata Bocata

- Maria Asunción Castaño Blaya, police Ravioli with Rape, Police and Air Gel Lemon

- Lorena Martínez Pellicer, mullet to Bamboo, Bulgur Wheat and Anchovy
