An agreement between the City and the Autonomous Region will be held in the town support program for families in special situations.
The program aims to enhance participants that families provide children a suitable family environment to ensure their full development, reducing or eliminating the factors that are or could be a cause of vulnerability, and to preserve the integrity of families.
The program aims to train adults who play parental roles to deal appropriately with self-care, care and education of children and household care and maintenance, promoting the sound development of juveniles.
Thus, the aim in teaching to address the issues related to the processes of crisis and family conflict, promoting alternative work options, designed to minimize conflict, preventing its chronicity and the undesirable consequences both in the whole family as each of its members, as problems are addressed and prevent domestic violence situations.
This project is carried out in the neighborhoods of La Paz and Fame, The Holy Spirit (Espinardo), Los Rosales (El Palmar) and other neighborhoods and districts that their characteristics so require.
A multidisciplinary team meets the needs of users from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays and some weekends.
The City Council team for the implementation of this program consists of a psychologist, a social worker and social educator and intervene in a comprehensive way with 40 families (about 200).
The contribution of the autonomous region, through the Directorate General Family and Children, this program is 90,602 euros.
