Awarded the works of adequacy of facilities and sports facilities in municipal schools (15/05/2010)

A total of 39 public high schools will be improved facilities thanks to Murcia City Council will undertake works of adaptation, improvement and rehabilitation of sports facilities.

Such actions, to be held in non-lecture period and will employ about 400 unemployed are financed by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability 2010.

The total amount of proceedings is 5,258,998.10 euros.

The adaptation and improvement in schools will be undertaken in a total of 21 schools, benefiting some 5,000 students.

The work to be focused on undertaking dated repair, painting, replacement of people, toilet fittings, replacement of roofs, adequacy of pavements, cleaning of sewerage, locksmith, carpentry, plumbing, replacement of window blinds, etc.

The centers that will serve are:

- Mariano Aroca (Murcia).

- Antonio Díaz (The Garres).

- CEIP Infanta Elena (Beniaján).

- Sacred Heart (Zeneta).

- Narciso Yepes CEIP (Murcia).

- CEIP Pedro Martinez Grips (Boatmen).

- CEIP Infante Don Juan Manuel (Murcia).

- Los Alamos (Murcia).

- CEIP Santa Maria de Gracia (Murcia).

- EIP Monteazahar (Beniaján).

- CEIP Contraparada (Javalí New).

- CEIP Angel Zapata (Torreagüera).

- CEIP San José de Calasanz (Stables).

- CEIP Ciudad de Murcia (Murcia).

- CEIP Maestro José Castaño (Murcia).

- Santa Rosa de Lima (El Palmar).

- City of Peace (El Palmar)

- Pablo Gil Castillo (El Puntarrón)

- Pedro Pérez Abbey (Espinardo)

- Carolina Codorniu (Churra).

For repair, rehabilitation and closure of schools sports court in the proceedings shall be conducted in a total of 18 schools and will benefit about 4,185 students.

The goal is to increase the quality of the supply of public sports facilities in the municipality in response to the high demand for their existing social benefit and interest to educational purposes, sports and recreation.

The work will focus on paving, laying of artificial turf, locks, improved sewerage, painting and installation of furniture and sporting goals, corner poles and flags.

- Antonio Díaz (The Garres).

- Jose Martinez Tornel (Patiño)

- Ramón Gaya (Bacons Bridge)

- Jose Rubio Gomariz (Cabeza de Torres)

- Virgen de Guadalupe (Guadalupe)

- Hellin de las Heras (Javalí Viejo)

- Virgen de la Vega (Cobatillas)

- San Pablo (Murcia)

- The Mill (The Pool)

- Francisco Salzillo (San Ginés)

- Bridge Doñana (The Albatalía).

- Construction of a new sport center court in the schools of San Jose de la Vega and Los Dolores.
