New technologies are bringing women from neighborhoods and districts (14/05/2010)

The Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship of the City of Murcia, María del Carmen directed by Pelegrin, has installed a bus-Mobile Classroom to deliver training in new technologies for women.

Continuing the campaign for training in this field will be taught advanced level courses for women with some basic computer skills.

These courses have been granted to the City of Murcia by the Institute for Women of Murcia, Murcia, in their Training Plan 2010.

This training has two basic objectives:

- Reducing the digital divide based on gender, which affects women more pronounced.

- Bring this resource to women who reside in districts and neighborhoods of Murcia have greater difficulty accessing this type of training

The bus-mobile classroom will be located at a point in the municipality of Murcia, particularly in the area of Fleet, Calle Alonso de Ojeda (Bag of parking).

It has been 10 to vienres today, May 14, in schedule 16 to 22 hours (two shifts).

This information has been disseminated in the Department of Women Abenarabi, Santa María de Gracia, Vistalegre, Fleet, La Fama, La Paz and City Center, inviting their members to participate in these courses, which are otherwise open being free to all women in the municipality.

The activity has been opened today, May 14, by the Councillor for Social Welfare Policy Equality and Citizenship, María del Carmen García Pelegrin, and the Director General of the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno Gómez.
