Hontoria visits the Civil Protection (14/05/2010)

Councilmember Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, Beatriz Hontoria, visited the Civil Protection facilities to meet volunteers and learn how the service works.

During the visit, Hontoria could see first hand the environment in which volunteers work also explained that the work played in the development of certain events such as: the support and collaboration with local police in preventive work, information city, locating lost children, help the elderly, health aid (first aid), among others.

The four dogs trained by Canine Unit conducted an exhibition, plus a group of volunteers did a mock mountain rescue.
