The City Council is financing the construction of three schools in Paraguay (12/05/2010)

Councilmember Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, Beatriz Hontoria, has received a delegation of Uruguay and UNESCO representatives of the Centre to know the development of a project funded by the City of Murcia and has allowed the construction of three schools in Paraguay .

These schools are in the Chaco region where they settle various indigenous groups in the country.

Schools will benefit some 10,000 children.

The City has worked with this project with 80,000 euros.
