The students of 3 º and 4 º of ESO of IES Beniaján, Engineer Cierva (Patiño) and Monte Miravete (Torreagüera) have established their own cooperatives to sell products within the project Empresa Joven Europea (EJE), an initiative aims to promote entrepreneurial skills among youth.
The Councillor for Education and Youth, María Dolores Sánchez, shared a day with them in the IES Beniaján to know the progress of the project.
Along with the mayor have been responsible for schools Manuel Olivas, director Monte Miravete, Jose Manuel Lopez, Chief Engineer Studies IES de la Cierva, and Manuel Cobarro, director of IES Beniaján.
Students of the three HEIs in the municipality have created their mini-businesses and are establishing relationships with other companies of the same type created in other Spanish and foreign schools.
This project aims to make students take charge of their own learning by encouraging active citizens and people with entrepreneurial spirit who are able to generate ideas and transform them into action.
Students will administer and manage your business in the legal form of cooperatives, obtain information from commercial to create a catalog of products they want to sell, use new technologies to communicate with other companies using commercial documentation (orders, invoices, etc ...); organize and manage storage operations and products work together and develop social skills.
