The Archaeological Museum of Murcia will host during the 5th, 6th and 7th of May the "International Wine Symposium hispanieae et oleo, who organized the Department of Prehistory, Archaeology, Ancient History, Medieval History and Historiography of Science and Technology University Murcia and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
During the event, international experts will discuss the technology and processes of producing wine and oil in large geographic areas of farming in the Iberian Peninsula in ancient Rome.
Tomorrow, day 5 after the opening at 9:30 pm, the first conference to Professor Manuel Bendala shall, at the Autonomous University of Madrid, who will speak on wine and oil in the pre-Roman Iberian Peninsula.
After and during the morning session, will be discussed in various papers on the state of affairs and general aspects of technology and production processes related to wine and oil in the Hispanic provinces.
The afternoon session will deal with the production of wine and oil in Lusitania, for that is to have researchers from universities in Extremadura, Portugal and Germany.
