As every year, the City of Murcia, through the Department of Environment and Education, which aimed Adela Matinez-Cacho, Pilar Megía, organized a competition to mark the World Environment Day, commemorated on June 5 .
Among the activities organized to celebrate the day, organizing a drawing competition for schoolchildren and posters this year has focused on biodiversity.
All papers submitted by participants will be an exhibition in the Exhibition Hall of the Cultural Center of the Barrio del Carmen in the days of 1 to June 8, 2010.
The awards ceremony will take place on June 4 in a ceremony presided by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara Botía in the Plenary Hall of the City of Murcia about 10 am.
