The University of Murcia has organized a series of events to celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity and include, among other activities, conferences and scientific trips.

The program opens today with the inauguration of an exhibition of the works presented at the IV Poster Contest, which can be seen in the University Museum in the former artillery barracks.

The program will continue tomorrow, day 4, with a lecture on "Light and Shadow of the biodiversity", which will be offered in the College Azarbe, at 19:30, by Professor of Biology María Dolores García.

On May 8 there will be a scientific trip to Terra Natura by Professor José Serrano.
