In the Governing Council meeting held yesterday and today it has approved the Regulations of the Unit for Equality between Women and Men of this educational institution.
The regulation states that this unit was established as an administrative structure of the University "reporting directly to the rector and develop policies aimed at gender equality in this institution."
The document also contains the implementation of Equality Commission, will participate in the development of the diagnostic report of the status of men and women in the University and assist in the implementation and monitoring of an equality plan.
The Council also approved the launch of the limited liability company "Accesium Technology", which is owned by the university and the company "Digi SLNE Digital Solutions" for the marketing, distribution and exploitation of IT solutions.
The governing body has also given its approval to various courses, conferences and seminars given by the Department for International Relations and Innovation.
It also approved nominations for appointment as emeritus professors of Ignacio Gonzalez Almagro, Educational Psychology and Education, and Juan Antonio Ruipérez Abizanda, Internal Medicine, and the implementation of technology-based company "Thader Biotechnology , SL. "
This session of the Governing Council was the first to be held after the election to Chancellor in March.
