PSOE Councilman José Manuel Abellán recalled that the municipal budget allocated to this area was a substantial cut of 775,000 Euros for new infrastructure the ridiculous amount of 100,000 euros, while the CARM also decreased the budget of 3 million euros to 700.00
Socialist Councilman José Manuel Abellán required in full this month the City of Murcia and the CARM more than three million euros this year were removed from their respective budgets as the only way to raise and promote public transport in the municipality.
Double cropping
This year, the PP-Abellán complaint has pursued a policy of cutting public transport twice.
On the one hand, the municipal government has reduced its budget by 775,000 euro while spending the ridiculous amount of 100,000 euros for new infrastructure, and regional government, meanwhile, has also reduced its budget from 3 million to 700,000 euros.
The most expensive
"All this bearing that the municipality has to transport more expensive in Spain, with a mess that no one understands rates, discriminating against residents of hamlets and illogical, the slower bus tours the country due to traffic jams and chaos traffic, schedules and frequencies in many cases away from the needs of Murcia, as well as a financing system contrary to promoting use of public transport every day and removed the public budget ", denouncing the mayor of the PSOE.
According to Abellán and "because the Hall has received more than 9 million from the Government of Spain for social policies, there is no justification for withdrawing money from public transport, except that the PP wants to plunge even further."
Measures
Given the state of wear and tear in which public transport is, the socialist mayor will require the implementation of a series of measures, and improve transportation, help alleviate the economic situation we are living the 43,000 unemployed people in the town, among which are:
