The spokesperson and councilor of the PSOE, José María Marcos Alarcon and Ros, respectively, have held a meeting today with members of the neighborhood association that has taken their complaints about the deterioration and abandonment of a historic district of Murcia
The Speaker and the Socialist mayor, José María Marcos Alarcon and Ros, respectively, have today held a meeting with members of the Neighborhood Association of San Antolin that they have forwarded their complaints to the unstoppable deterioration and neglect that is experiencing one of the neighborhoods most traditional of the city of Murcia.
Likewise, members of the neighborhood association presented the Socialist Group converted a number of steps in a plan of improvement for the neighborhood that have also left the City Hall registry.
Proposals
Among the proposals in this plan include the enhancement of the old school building García Alix, where despite the promises of the PP to make a multipurpose center has not done anything and the building is deteriorating.
The neighbors have informed Ros Alarcón and priority for them would make a local library, on which building could provide other social and cultural services.
Other initiatives championed by the association refers to the creation of a cycleway from the garden of the Malecon that, in turn, would come from the bike path of the river and then go through the neighborhoods of San Andrés, San Anton , San Basilio and the Ranero reaching the north of the city.
The maintenance and repair of the facades, the reorganization of the pedestrian traffic in some areas of the district, the extension of sidewalks, especially in the Augustinian; burial container, and greater control and street cleaning are other proposals that neighbors Included in this plan.
