Professor, University of Murcia and former Vice Chancellor Konrad Navalon, along with the representative of the Saharawi people in Murcia, Saad El Mami, participated in the Conference XXXIV European Coordination of Support for the Saharawi People, held this weekend in Valencia .
The meeting was convened in the City of Turia about four hundred representatives of all Spanish autonomous communities and 25 countries on five continents, along with representatives of the government of Western Sahara and the Polisario Front.
The conclusions of the conference put special emphasis on the "inalienable right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, which is considered a priority challenge.
Also highlights the need to intensify international pressure on all levels and in all the forums to ensure that Morocco meets international agreements.
It has also been asked to strengthen humanitarian assistance especially in the context of international crisis affecting the world.
