A new primary care center will improve the care offered to residents of the downtown area.
The Governing Board on Wednesday approved the specification for recruitment by open, in this work.
This new facility will serve residents of the neighborhoods of San Lorenzo, Cathedral, St. Bartholomew and part of The Fame, San Miguel, Santa Eulalia and San Juan.
The Clinic will be located between the streets of San José and Joaquín Costa and occupy a parcel that has 425 square meters.
It will build a five-storey building with basement, which will accommodate up to 30 consultations, plus reception area, waiting room and staff-only area (toilets, changing rooms, rest ...).
Specifically, we construct general medical, pediatrics, social work, nursing, child nursing, pediatrics, diagnostic techniques, treatments, midwifery, minor surgery, dentistry and dental hygienist.
The building will be accessible to persons with reduced mobility and is built with fire resistant materials in accordance with the rules of protection against noise, energy saving and thermal insulation.
The implementation period is 18 months and the planned investment by the city of 2.2 million euros.
