Murcia City Council continues its improvement plan and renewal of urban areas in the municipality to enhance and revitalize the business districts of Murcia.
This time, the plan has come to Espinardo, will tender a maximum budget of 240,000 euros and the implementation period is four months from its allotment.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved the project and specifications for remodeling the center of that parish, which is made renovation of sidewalks, asphalt paving and pavement.
The renovation of sidewalks shall be in a stretch of Calle San Ignacio (from the Segura River Street), on Calle Calvario (located in the Calle Mayor and Calle Fernando III El Santo), the cobbled street will Baquerín; and improvement of asphalt pavement will be held in the streets Sculptor José Planes, San Juan, Asunción, Pintor A.
Carpe Hernández, San Ignacio and Santo Cristo.
Baquerín Street is a narrow street of 5.5 meters wide and sidewalks of 70 feet wide.
Since the dimensions of the sidewalks are scarce, aims to provide unique cobblestone paving the entire street, eliminating the sidewalk and facilitating easy access for pedestrians and vehicles.
