The development and promotion of activities and projects within the field of health sciences is the ultimate goal which is based on the cooperation agreement signed this morning by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, and President of the Foundation Hefame.
The agreement establishes a broad framework for collaboration on the development and promotion of activities in the field of health sciences.
Over the next year the two institutions will collaborate on humanitarian aid programs and in organizing training courses for older women on drug municipal plan, risk groups, environmental education and health promotion.
The agreement also provides for promoting the reduction of pharmacy costs, the cost of infant feeding groups served by social services and promote activities to improve care for immigrants.
There is also provision of infrastructures, provision of scholarships and grants, and developing training and educational programs and research grants or funding research projects.
