The Civil Guard detained a person for the unlawful application of biocides in public (25/07/2008)

Service agents Nature Conservation (SEPRONA) of the Guardia Civil de Murcia, in the so-called "Operation Delta" developed in recent weeks has detained JMOG, 36 years old and resident of Murcia, on suspicion crimes against public health, fraud, forgery and crime on consumers, by the application of disinfection treatments, insect and rodent control (DDD) without complying with the requirements of the regulations on the matter and supplanting also the identity of a service company biocides.

The performances, which has helped the Directorate General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health, Region of Murcia, started a few weeks ago when the company reported to the SEPRONA injured as a former employee, who had been fired in 2006, carrying out treatment of DDD in the name of the commercial without permission.

Following investigations conducted by the Civil Guard was learned that the defendant had done work with biocides in bars, restaurants and food processing facilities in several locations in the region, among which are at least of Murcia, Lorca, Jumilla, Yecla, Santomera, Calasparra and Eagles.

The suspect, upon completion of the work, gave its customers a guarantee certificate impersonating biocides services company that had fired him in 2006 and a safety data sheet products used in treating DDD that did not correspond to those actually applied.
