The Youth Musical Group Cabezo de Torres was honored yesterday with the second prize in National Competition LX Bands "City of Cullera 2008", which brought together groups of Alicante, Barcelona, León, Albacete and Murcia.

The band, formed by 85 musicians, performed, under the leadership of Andrés Pérez-Bernabé a compulsory work (Estampas de Iberia Francisco Grau Vegara) and a free work (Music of the Spheres by Philip Sparke).

There were six musical performances and a parade of different places of the town of Cullera.

The Youth Musical Group Cabezo de Torres has participated in numerous competitions, including most notably those held in Albacete, Galicia, Valencia, Cartagena and Murcia.
