Street cleaning services collected 7,000 kilos of cardboard after the Burial of the Sardine (31/03/2008)

The Department of street cleaning and waste collection on Saturday established a special cleaning device to celebrate the parade of the Burial of the Sardine.

During this time, we collected a total of 7,000 kilograms of cardboard for recycling.

The device consisted of 98 special operators and eleven foremen, machinery as well as various roadway and sidewalk sweepers, flushers roads, trucks, garbage trucks and hoses.

In addition to the various teams that worked after the parade, was established five others were ordered to clean the gardens and entertainment area of the city.
