Sardinero Mercury Group has awarded its annual prize for the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, for the "important work that has been playing in pro Murcia society in all respects, and in particular, with regard to Spring Festival. "
Mercury Prize will be delivered in the traditional meal that celebrates the Group Sardinero in Doña Sardina company and its predecessors on the Thursday before burial.
The award is endowed with a contribution of 600 euros to be allocated to the work or social order designated by the Mayor.
The granting of this distinction, adopted by unanimous election of members of the group, has been reported by its chairman, Carlos Fernández Salmerón.
The Mercury Prize is awarded each year to personalities of the region that has outstanding talent and relevance in the life of society Murcia.
