• Performances are held in the Auditorium of La Alberca, in two morning sessions
The Department of Education and Personal, directed Pilar Megía, organized for the first time this year, a play in which music and dance become protagonists in a story marked by the rhythms and sounds.
The purpose of this activity, aimed at students from kindergarten-is to present classical dance, contemporary and Spanish, as well as music and communicative possibilities of the body through both artistic disciplines.
The contents of the book is based on the learning of rhythms and sounds, language comprehension musical and theatrical shows of the possibilities of the moving body and knowledge of different dance styles.
Under the title "Music Box", the smallest municipality of Murcia may differentiate the different styles of dance by four different characters: a cat, which symbolize contemporary dance, a dancer who will be responsible for representing the dance classical witch, Spanish dance, and a musician, the combination of the three modes of dance.
In this activity, aimed at children from 4 years old, involved 4,841 students (126 schools) of the 5,026 registered in the municipality of Murcia.
There will be 17 performances at the Municipal Auditorium in La Alberca, in two morning sessions (10 and 11:30 hours).
