More than 100 people will participate in the II Football Tournament Network for Inclusion (03/02/2016)

In order to promote and facilitate social integration processes and improving the quality of life among people who are in situations of vulnerability or social exclusion, RAIS Foundation and The Huertecica Collective in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Health of the City Murcia, have launched the II Football Tournament for the Inclusion Network, which will be attended by over 100 people.

The Councillor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, stressed that the program "of the firm belief that physical education is a tool for personal and social development of people, and is one of the tools to break the cycle of exclusion social, promoting healthy habits. "

Coello also said that the goal "is not to compete, but to generate a dynamic of social inclusion", for which the city of Murcia will provide facilities and support staff, since it is "very interested" in this project succeed.

In addition, the mayor explained that the beneficiaries of the program, "young people and adults are at risk extreme social exclusion, homelessness and people from other countries with serious problems of socio-professional integration".

Participants in this tournament, taking place at the Municipal Sports Joseph Barnes, between February and April this year, are the users of the various entities belonging to different groups that are at risk of social exclusion.

The entities are: AFESMO, CEPAIM Diagram-Heliotropos Foundation, Murcia Welcomes, Project Man, Jesus Forsaken, The RAIS Foundation and Collective Huertecica.
