The City of Murcia doubles activities Senior Centers and incorporates cultural tours (03/02/2016)

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero, 140 scheduled courses, workshops and activities that will be developed in the municipal network of Centres for the Elderly of the municipality during 2016, among them those designed to promote health and active and healthy aging with titles like 'Creative Therapies: Humor and Positivity', 'for music in your life', 'Cinema: Another form of cultural expression' and Information Technology for facilitate the use of computers, word processing, Internet and Smartphones.

More than 34,000 people, members of the 76 Social Centres for the Elderly of the municipality, will benefit from these activities for the development of healthy habits and stimulating leisure activities, in addition to those already consolidated as Gerontogimnasia, will increase this year number of hours per year, book clubs, theater, painting, Tai Chi, Choral Music and String, and Plastic Arts & Laughter Therapy.

Cultural trips and Theatre Festival
