Coral Discantus the culmination of a successful year.
New releases, concerts in Spain and festivals in France and Poland and the staging of major works of music as The Passion According to St. Matthew, have been part of the commemoration of the first 20 years of history Discantus.
This December the coral, which is already preparing activities in 2016, close to Murcia traditional carols.
The next Saturday, December 19, the official section of the Coral Discantus 20'30h will offer a concert of carols in the church convent downtown Las Anas, located on Paseo Alfonso X the Wise, where he will tour large pieces Christmas corals of the most varied styles.
This concert is framed within the activities commemorating the 800th anniversary of the creation of this order dominica.
But first, on Thursday, 17 December at 20'30h Discantus offer a great Christmas concert at the Cathedral of Murcia with the Symphony Orchestra of the UCAM and two great soloists, where well known traditional Christmas carols and a tour repertoire by choirs of great operas.
Also on Wednesday 16 December, our Junior Section (12-17 years), with 60 members, will offer 20'30h a great concert of carols at the invitation of the Brotherhood of Stmo.
