More than 100,000 people visit until Sunday the new edition of the Fair Outlet Murcia (04/11/2015)

More than 100,000 people visit in the coming days the VIII Fair Outlet Murcia, who until Sunday will remain on Avenida Alfonso X the Wise and the Plaza Santo Domingo, offering a wide range of products at substantially reduced prices.

Murcia businesses turn to leave their premises to go to meet potential customers in the heart of the city, in an initiative promoted by the Department of Commerce, Organization and Institutional Relations, headed by Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, and associations traders Barrio del Carmen, Murcia Mall Area, Traders Carmelitani Triangle Murcia, Vistalegre and Merchants Association Silverware-Tatters.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, accompanied by Pelegrin, this morning visited the exhibition, in which 136 businesses from diverse sectors involved: fashion for men, women, children, footwear, jewelery, optical, gift, decor, beauty and home.

The establishments offer discounts of between 50% and 70% and the hours will be from 10 to 14 and from 17 to 20.30.

The aim of the fair is to stimulate Outlet traditional trade outputting products in stock, offering users the ability to acquire quality products at affordable prices.

The Mayor stressed the wisdom of carrying out actions that contribute to "encourage the activity of small businesses, shifting walls establishments and bringing them closer to citizens at street" and noted that initiatives such as the Outlet Fair show "the importance of keeping the avenues of collaboration between the private sector and governments to plan action to revitalize the local economy and provide new opportunities to Murcia."
