The University of Murcia, through the Vice President of Coordination and Planning Internationalization and teachings, has established a procedure to simplify the procedures for submitting dissertations opting to international references.
From now on, it will not require external reports and other documents necessary for the processing of the same that may come in foreign languages, they are presented with a sworn translation into Spanish.
These documents may be delivered only in the language in which they were issued, and by an internal procedure, as designed, translating them transparently for the doctoral and is debited to the central University Murcia.
In this simplification process it has also involved the International Doctoral School of this educational institution.
On the other hand, they have approved the agreements to be signed with two universities in Tunisia and Italy for the joint supervision of two doctoral thesis in promoting internationalization at the University of Murcia.
One of them will be signed with the Tunisian Carthage College for research in the field of biology, and the other, to subscribe to Palermo (Italy), for a doctoral thesis on anthropology.
The Vice Chancellor for Teaching Planning, José Manuel Mira, said that working for the promotion of joint supervision of theses, which until now only account for one percent of the total.
