The Board of Governors approved the specifications for contracting the Service upkeep and maintenance of the squares of the City of Murcia supplies, for a period of two years, amounting to 70,000 euros per year.

Along with repair work and maintenance on masonry, electrical and plumbing in the buildings of municipal ownership, it is included as novelty servicing of automatic doors of these places, as well as improving service of toilets eight seats of supplies of Murcia and districts.

With this action the City Council continues its efforts to improve efficiency in the management of the spaces municipal supplies, since the contract contains as improves speed in the execution of work orders, calling them ordinary, urgent or very urgent , the time of execution of the latter 24 hours.

Also included in this contract is preventative cleaning of roofs to prevent risks arising from the cold drop.

This service is to ensure the normal operation of the municipal markets and represents a more directed to the modernization of spaces as supplies.

Currently the Department of Commerce is working on other actions to modernize municipal food markets, such as renewal of escalators, air conditioning and trash compactor in the Market Square Veronicas and rehabilitation of the façade, dome and toilets for the disabled in the Market Square of San Andrés.
