More than 220 children between 5 and 16 years participate this July in the eleven workshops scheduled in the four municipal museums: Ramón Gaya, Science and Water, the city and the Space Molinos Río_Caballerizas.
Prominent among these educational activities about photography, radio or genealogy in the City Museum, the Science and Technology games or artistic creation in the Ramón Gaya Museum.

MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND WATER
Exhibition "immortal Books, essential tools"
It will bring the children to a selected set of books and scientific instruments, without which it would be possible to understand the progress of science and the history of humanity.
Scientists guide you, in a playful way, through his discoveries in the scientific method.
In addition, activities of initiation to robotics in which children can build robots and started in computer programming is included.
They use digital tools to solve real problems, experiment with different concepts of physics and mathematics, arousing their interest not only in science and engineering, but also for art or music.

Ramón Gaya Museum
With your feet on the ground
It aims to bring children to one of the elements of the Mediterranean tradition, pavements or hydraulic soil from performing a few sets of plastic creation.
During the workshop the design concept of hydraulic mosaic will be used to develop creativity and know part of our culture.

Embroidering with pencils
Embroidery designs in Murcia petticoats: Coinciding with the 48th edition of the International Folklore Festival in the Mediterranean, a plastic workshop to work an element of traditional clothing is made.
This workshop aims to bring children into the world of Murcia tradition, from the creation of sets of artistic creation.
In the workshop the concept of embroidery used in decoration of petticoats, shawls and aprons used traditional Murcia.
These motifs were developed with plastic techniques through different pictorial current experiences.

Creative Cardboard
The cardboard is an ecological, sustainable and easy to handle, ideal for enhancing the creativity and imagination of the smallest material.
Cartonlab hold a workshop where participants will work together to build fun and amazing structures using this material.
Aimed at children 8 to 11 years, for a total of fifteen people.
The workshop is free, the monitor will indicate the material that enrolled children must bring.
Hours: from 10.30 to 12.30.
A workshop on 14 and 15 July will.
Registration: from July 6, 11 to 14 h (in order of arrival).
Taught by CartonLab laboratory of Architecture and Eco cardboard.
On Tuesdays, the museum theater
To celebrate the 120th anniversary of film every Tuesday of July, to the 18 hours, it has organized a series of children's films to discover the best films of drawings made by computer or not.
A fantasy world that happy afternoon and teach the wonder of cinema.
Admission is free.
Apart from the children's and youth activities, museums of the city and Gaya are open with exhibits and displays.

Ramón Gaya Museum
Dialogues with Ramón Gaya
The Dialogues project was born two years ago with the intention of generating and transmitting a communication between different artistic expressions of the Region of Murcia.
During the cycle, consisting of eight individual and collective exhibitions, art historians, critics and artists reflect, through meetings and discussions, about the work carried out on the basis of painting Ramón Gaya.
DIALOGUE begins with each process of creation and ends with an invitation to the viewer to participate.

"Profiles of Spain"
One year, the Ramón Gaya Museum joins the celebration of the International Folklore Festival in the Mediterranean.
For the XLVIII edition, the Museum collaborates with the exhibition of reproductions of illustrations that the painter Ramón Gaya made during his exile in Mexico for a calendar Mazapanes Todelo and that is about the folk costumes and cultural expressions of various Spanish cities.
Motivated by nostalgia for traditions and Spanish culture, the painter and writer Ramón Gaya-through prints and Book-Entry collaborated with Marzipan Toledo in creating some of your calendars.
At the Museum reproductions of 12 illustrations he did in his first collaboration with the creation of the calendar "Profiles of Spain" and where visitors can appreciate the commitment that the painter and writer had with the Spanish culture and tradition from their remoteness they are displayed in Mexico.
