The PSOE supports thousands of residents of El Esparragal who demand more presence of the Civil Guard at the alarming increase in thefts (17/03/2015)

The Socialist councilor José Zapata has joined today to residents of El Esparragal to the Government Delegation which have delivered 1,196 signatures calling for an increase in the Civil Guard in this area, at the alarming number of robberies taking place daily in the area and that keeps the population in a "situation of distress and uncertainty."

The socialist mayor asks the Government Delegate and a forceful act dramatically to stem the wave of robberies taking place in homes, industrial buildings, vehicles and shops in the area action starts.

Some of the residents affected, Zapata explains not win for scares, because thefts are occurring inside the homes where people sleep;

and due to the dispersion of homes although they have measures security- thefts are going on, even several times in one day.

As they tell neighbors in writing delivered to the government delegation, the Civil Guard is overwhelmed, "do everything they can, but human and material resources at their disposal are insufficient to cover the whole area."

"This is not an isolated incident," said Zapata, who, in this sense, remember that the Socialist Group has long been warning of a worrying situation also occurred in other districts of the municipality, such Stables, The Arboleja, Nonduermas and El Raal, among others.

"The increase in robberies in the garden areas of the municipality is increasing the feeling of insecurity, so the government delegation should be taken seriously sensitive and crude conflict that are suffering residents in their daily lives," concludes the socialist mayor.
