Urban Quality bollards remove those that impede the visually impaired pedestrians in crosswalks (29/01/2015)

The Municipal House has approved, with votes in favor of the Municipal People's Party, Socialist Municipal Group, IU-Greens and UPyD, a motion by UPyD, thanks to which those bollards are eliminated in zebra crossings impeding the movement of blind or visually impaired

So, continuing with the policy pursued by the Department of Urban Quality, more than 900 fords are fully reformed to ensure universal accessibility.

To date, the Service In Situ has appeared in more than 500 recesses of sidewalks adding a wedge of mortar to avoid unevenness and facilitate pedestrian traffic.

Also the council has conducted the first Director of Accessibility Plan municipality and will be tendered in a few weeks the first 100% accessible route that runs from north to south the town from the station to Bethlehem clinical Carmen
